I have been waiting for this day for a L-O-N-G time now. Today was the day that THIS went on sale to the public:
The new Canon EOS 50D. And I am now a proud owner of one. She is simply magnificent. I think that I am in love. Sorry... no pics uploaded to share yet. But I promise I will share some with you soon. Maybe a few comparison shots between my point and shoot and this new lovely camera pictured above.
Now, I do still love my pont and shoot. I have a Canon PowerShot SD1000, and it has served me quite well so far. It will continue to travel with me everywhere, in my purse. But I am now super-ready for the REAL pics I need to capture.
And, to test the waters, I have my first photo shoot set up for this saturday, and another one set for sunday. Friends and family, of course, but I have to start somewhere.
